Beverly Freeman created AAP Consultants LLC after a 16 year career working for one of the largest employer associations in the country. During her role as Manager, Affirmative Action Services, Beverly led and participated in the preparation of over 1,000 affirmative action plans. She has successfully assisted dozens of clients across the country with OFCCP compliance reviews. Her objectives are the same as yours - avoid costly financial remedies resulting from non-compliance.
Today, Beverly routinely consults with clients regarding regulatory issues pertaining to all areas covered under affirmative action such as applicant tracking, compensation, protected veterans and individuals with disabilities outreach, and more. Beverly educates employers on current trends and the risks involved with non-compliance. Her clients are well-positioned against potential audit threats.
Beverly was elected to the board of the National Industry Liaison Group (NILG), representing the Southeast Region (2015-2020). She served a two-year elected term on the board's Executive Committee. The NILG meets annually with the heads of the following agencies: OFCCP, EEOC, ODEP and VETS. Beverly has also been active in her local ILG where she has served in numerous leadership roles, including President. For many years she planned all programming for her ILG, drawing large meeting attendance.
Outside of her work, Beverly enjoys traveling, walks with her dog, adventures with her husband, and spending as much time as possible in the NC mountains. She has been married for 30 years and has a son and daughter-in-law. Beverly is a graduate of North Carolina State University.
